FiiO will be hosting its Spring event for the year 2021 in a few days. Ahead of the event, they announced their upcoming products that will be showcased during the event. They announced a total of four different products, two Hi-Res audio players(M11Plus and M17), one pair of hybrid driver IEMs(FH5S), and one Desktop-grade DAC/AMP(K9Pro). Through their social media channels, FiiO actually gave brief info on all of these upcoming products that I am gonna share with you all today.
Let’s begin with the upcoming Flagship, the FiiO M17:-
This was actually kind of unexpected, FiiO just launched their Flagship M15 a few months back. And now the crown of flagship player will be handed over to M17 very soon. But to be honest it brings many updated features such as a premium dual ES9038Pro DAC chipset with THX AAA-788Pro AMP module. The players run on a snappy Snapdragon 660 CPU with 4Gigs of RAM and 64GB internal memory. It features a full HD 1080p 6.0″ display. The player has four different headphone output ports, 3.5mm+6.35mm single-ended, 2.5mm+4.4mm balanced headphone output ports. For lineout, users can use 3.5mm or 4.4mm output ports.
From its specs and details revealed so far the M17 looks like a powerhouse and one-point solution for all our musical needs. But I know it will be having a heft price tag too after all the M15 itself costs about 1300$. But if it provides all the functions with the clean, powerful output it can prove to be a brilliant device. FiiO will be showcasing the M17 at their Spring Event. It will be available internationally in August as per current information from the brand.

M11 Plus, The M11 Pro Replacement:-
M11 Pro has been one of the best devices from FiiO in recent times. I for myself have bought the device twice(I sold first due to some personal reasons but ended up buying again in some time). M11 Pro has been updated to M11 Plus now with a better SOC and the latest Android 10 support. But the M11 Plus is very limited in quantity due to the shortage of AKM DAC chips in the market. FiiO has planned to bring another variant of M11 Plus later this year with ESS Sabre DAC chipsets.
The SOC has been updated from Snapdragon 430 in the OG M11 Pro to a new and faster Snapdragon 660 chipset. It allowed FiiO to update the Android software from the older Version 7 to the advanced and latest Android Version 10. The Snapdragon 660 brings a faster, snappier user interface while maintaining the same beautiful acoustic performance as with the M11 Pro. Advanced Android 10 brings better application support for the device. The Price of the M11 Plus will also be getting a significant increase over the Pro model as per current information from the brand.

FiiO FH5S, the Hybrid middle ground between FH3 and FH7:-
FiiO has announced another hybrid pair of IEMs, the FiiO FH5S. It comes in between the FH3 and FH7 models providing a middle ground for people looking to buy better thanFH3 but something less expensive than the Flagship FH7. The FH5S is equipped with a quad-driver hybrid setup on both sides housing 2 high-performance Balanced Armature drivers with 2 powerful DD units. I personally have a brief experience with the FH7 and completely loved its impactful sound quality, hoping nothing less with the FH5S now.

FiiO K9 Pro, Flagship Desktop DAC/AMP:-
Last but not least is the latest flagship-grade Desktop DAC/AMP, the FiiO K9 Pro. The K9 Pro was initially being planned with a dual AK4499 DAC chipset but a shortage of the same led to a single AK4499 DAC chipset in the device paired with the THX AAA-788Pro Amplification module. It has a tremendously powerful output with power ratings of up to 2700mW at a 32Ω load. It has all the glitters of a flagship-grade device such as a Clean DAC chip, powerful AMP module, powerful output, Hi-Res Bluetooth Connectivity, and more.
