Moondrop has re-launched “Aria” its single DD in-ear monitors in a new avatar. The original Aria was launched way back in 2018 and it was discontinued in just a few months. But now, Moondrop has redesigned it from the ground up with entirely new aesthetics, design, and driver configuration. The latest Aria is available at an attractive price of 79.99$ with multiple online stores such as Aliexpress, HiFiGo, and more.
>All-new aesthetics and design:-
Instead of simple bullet-styled earpieces of the original Aria, the latest revamped Aria has more ergonomically designed earpieces that provide a better and comfortable fit with improved noise isolation as compared to the bullet-type earpieces.
>Beautiful matte-finished cavities:-
Moondrop Aria features beautiful matte-finished ear cavities. They are made using a high-precision CNC machining process presenting finely molded cavities.
>10mm Dynamic driver unit with LCP Diaphragm:-
Moondrop has equipped the latest Aria with a 10mm large dual-cavity dynamic driver unit with premium LCP(Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm material that brings excellent transient response characteristics to the pair. LCP material makes the diaphragm flexible and sturdy allowing for quick movement and hence resulting in a transparent, punchy output.
>N52 strong neodymium magnet:-
The dynamic driver unit inside Moondrop Aria features N52 neodymium magnets that creates a strong magnetic field inside the driver allowing for switch movement of the moving coil.
>Brass inner driver cavity & Daikoku-CCAW Voice Coil:-
With the help of brass cavity’s volume control, Aria is able to have balanced response characteristics. There’s also an ultra-find imported Daikoku-CCAW voice coil that brings a lightweight suspension system making the pair sound transparent and natural.
>High-frequency phased waveguide system:-
The Moondrop Aria features a newly designed high-frequency phase waveguide that effectively reduces the distortion caused by high-frequency phase interference making the treble response smooth and delicate.
>Impedance: 32 ohms.
>Frequency response: 5Hz-36kHz.
>Effective frequency range: 20Hz-20kHz.
Price & Availability:-
The Moondrop Aria has been priced quite attractively at 79.99$. It will be interesting to see how it competes with the similarly priced Tin HiFi T2 Plus and higher-priced Moondrop Starfield that is again a single DD IEM from Moondrop. Interested people can buy the Moondrop Aria from Aliexpress, HiFiGo, and other online stores.
